MacBook does not work with AC adapter

MacBook Pro does not work with AC adapter. If battery is charged on another Mac it works. The adapter was also tested on another Mac and the adapter is fine.

It seems that the adapter is not charging the Mac even though the light is green. Could this be the left I/O board?

Sounds like the left I/O board has failed to me. Her's how to replace it:
