Repair guides, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the third generation Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. Identified by model number CFI-ZCT1W and motherboard model BDM-030.

The controller starts flashing orange and then stops

I press the PS button and it starts flashing the orange color a few times and simply stops. It does not connect to either PS5 or PC, even with the cable on. It even flashes when you connect a cable but it still does not connect to anything. The controller is in perfect conditions and I don’t know what can I do to resolve this problem.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Have you tried the reset button on the back of the controller?

Hi Dalton!

When you unplug the battery from the controller and connect it to the charger, the same thing happen (blinking orange a few times and then stop). Please replace the battery first and see what happens!

It's a nice first start to test and see if this solves it or not.
