Disassembling iPhone4 I found 2 foam part. Where were they?

Disassembling iphone4 I found 2 foam part that I don't where they could be.

iPhone 4 Display Assembly Replacement step 17 you can see that each of the tabs has a foam (gum?) cover that looks like the piece on the right in your photo. If you look at step 18 you will see the piece of foam(gum) which looks like your piece on the right of your photo, sitting at the very top of the screen covering the board to protect your LCD connections. If your iphone is otherwise working then these may not be vital parts-they protect connections or keep the tabs in place using pressure from the little plate you removed.

Thanks for answer! The piece on the left of my photo it's the piece that you have suggested me that is sitting at the very top of the screen covering the board to protect LCD connections.

For the piece on the left (the smallest), I'm not sure that is the foam on one of tabs.

Someone has some solution? Thx!!!

I have the same problem. A small foam piece with sticky tape on both sides fell out of my phone. The dimensions are 3mm by 2mm by 1mm. It does not look like it goes on top of the connectors. It looks like it should be a bumper.
