The slim edition of the classic Xbox 360 with a 250GB HDD and built-in Wi-Fi. Repair requires intricate prying and special tools.

My 360 started smoking out the back vents

I tried to hook up a 12 v power pack to it but when the power button was clicked it started to smoke. A voltage regulator was blown. Can somebody help me Id it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Console is still working or facing any issue? Did you tried another voltage regulator? I faced something similar with my PC and figured out it was because of cheap product.

The regulator is a 5 pin over by the power connection port under the hard drive. It is 1.8 volts
