Depressed power button repair?

My power button on my fairly new GSM iPhone 4S 64gb just became permanently depressed and doesn't respond no matter what I do . What do I do to fix that ? Is there a spring or small piece of rubber I can replace?

If it's still under warranty and you don't want to open it, I'd just have them either fix it or replace it, but if you do want to fix this and keep your current phone, you're going to have to open it up and make sure either the power button hasn't shifted on the inside getting pinned down or something wasn't damaged otherwise, here's the link on how to reach the power button

You may want to try loosening the screws and realigning if need be

Let me know how it turns out or if you need further guidance :)

How exactly can the button get "shifted"? My power button is also stuck in the depressed position and won't lift up. Is there some sort of diagnostics I can do to be sure it's just stuck and not needing replaced? I'd rather not replace it if I can. Thanks. :)

(Also, I'm new here, should I post this as a new question or is it alright to add on this discussion?)
