Identification of small component after dismantling

Block Image

I dismantled my iphone 4s. After that, i discovered a small black plastic part that had fallen out from the area of the power button.

If i could get some help or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Toni

That looks like the rubber bumper that loosely sits on the top edge of the Logic Board, under the two front screen flex cables. It acts as a cushion there. It is not considered a necessary component. Hang on to it, and if you ever repair the iPhone again put it in.
