Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the HMD Fusion, from the makers of Nokia phones. The Fusion was released in September 2024 and features a variety of smart outfits that allow for customization.

Power + Volume Up does not seem to take me to the Recovery menu.

How can I hard reset the device?

I am able to reach fastboot mode with a Volume Down + Power button hold when device is off. However, that only has 'Start', 'Restart Bootloader', and 'Off' as options.

When I try to reach recovery mode by Volume Up + Power button like other HMD devices it just keeps booting or rebooting depending on if I let up or not after the HMD logo shows.

How do I factory reset?

I tried asking HMD Chat Support for a firmware to flash in fastboot but they will not give a stock image.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I came across this and downloaded the zip files in case I ever need them. Seems legit as far as I looked into it. Hope it helps you get your phone going.

Had to figure this out on my own since the support agent is apparently not allowed to say. You'll need a computer, a USB C cable to connect your phone to it, and fastboot. If you're on GNU/Linux, you can probably just get fastboot from your package manager. If you're on Windows... well, there's guides around.

1. Boot into fastboot

2. Connect your phone to the computer

3. On the computer, in the command line, run this command:

fastboot reboot recovery
