The ultimate paper tablet with 11.8” color display, adjustable reading light, and unmatched paper-like feel

Love my month old ReMarkable Paper Pro, but have a cracked screen!

Is there an option to replace the screen? REMarkable support has not really told me if this is an option. I love the unit, but don’t want to buy a new one to fix the cracked screen. HELP!

I can’t be the only person who has had this issue.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I’m in the same boat. Hope Remarkable comes up with an authorized service provider to repair screens. Doesn’t make sense to basically purchase a new device and still return a working device that just needs repairs.

I dropped my PaperPro and screen cracked... big long cracks.

Tablet still works, but glass getting looser. Put clear packing tape over top.

It's holding everything in place and I can still use it without paying for a new one. Heh, a $ 60 discount if I send my old one, are you kidding, what a rip off.

Does anyone know where to buy a screen ? Will a made to order sized glass work ?

I'm in the same boat, remarkable no longer do repairs, your only two options are to replace it with a refurbished device for a small discount, mind you this is a $1000 device, so a discount for $700 is still way too high, or let it collect dust.

I'm not happy at the moment with their services, if I can replace the screen myself, I'd do it, but I feel like I'm getting screwed over.

Same boat here. They said mine is cracked even though there is no external crack. It wasn’t dropped, hit, or anything. Had it 4 months. Just one day it stopped working and all these ink lines were permanently on the screen. Sent customer service pictures and they said the screen is cracked. But it’s not. It’s smooth as butter without even a single scratch. So unless my device cracked in the inside without eternally cracking the outside… it’s a mystery to me. They have the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I asked them could I send it to them so they could see that it had NO crack. They haven’t responded. This company is a complete scam for an apparently fragile garbage product. I will never ever do business with them again. $700 with a $130 case…and it just spontaneously breaks in 4 months? Ridiculous,

I had the same issue TWICE. I bought my first Pro in October and in March I was wiping down the screen (softly) and all of a sudden black lines appeared and the screen was frozen. After fighting with them I ordered another Pro (my work pays) then last night the same thing happened. Except this time it was only 2 or 3 lines at the bottom of the screen. When I sent support a photo they immediately knew it was defective and told me that they were sending me a new device. But I am disheartened, I use it in my workflow and I need to be able to rely on it. Today, I ordered a Super Note Manta 3 to see if we should switch. 2 defective tablets is not okay

Same issue here! Never dropped, always in a case and well protected. Crack along the bottom of the screen and support says there’s nothing they can do - cracked screens aren’t covered under warranty! But I could by a refurbished replacement for $550!! After nearly a five year relationship with this company, I am quickly falling out of love with them. Might be filing for divorce in the morning!! Beyond frustrated!!

Same here. Pulled out of bag the other day and screen was cracked. Luckily I have a remarkable 2 to fall back to, but I was really enjoying my workflow with the Paper Pro. Starting to look at other options like the Supernote as well.

I'll add myself to this list. I dropped Remarkable Paper Pro once and I have a single crack going across the entire screen. Still works... but a real shame to not have a reasonably priced service to replace the cracked screen. I think it's safe to say we all love our devices and take some pride in its sleek design... not offering customers the ability to fix it when it cracks... : serious flaw.
