Zojirushi Induction Rice Cooker loud buzzing sound when plugging in

What does a loud electrical buzzing sound indicate? The sound is similar to an AC when it’s cycling on. It may be overloading the circuit. Loose wire? Major part failure?

Induction cooking uses magnetic fields to heat directly, rather than using thermal conduction. The magnetic field is created by the 60Hz (or 50Hz) AC power. If something is loose, the magnetic field will vibrate it. It likely will need disassembly to find what is loose and fix it.
