My screen just wont turn on but the system does (please help )
My system goes on and off before the screen just stops working but the system do turn on, not the screen

@victorharris could be an issue with the LCD. Connect an external display and see if that works. If so, you know the issue is your screen.
The no video issue can be related to a bad backlight inverter circuitry. A simple check for that would be to darken the room and turn the computer on. Then use a flashlight and angle the light at the screen on different areas. you might make out some shadows or even see your desktop.
If the external screen should not work either, then the issue is most likely on the motherboard. There is always a possibility that this is BIOS related but we will need to rule out the common things first.
