A more affordable, purely handheld version of the Nintendo Switch game console, with integrated Joy-Con controllers and a slightly smaller screen. Released September 20, 2019.

I installed the new hall effect joysticks and now I have stick drift.

I followed the video to swap out my factory sticks with the hall effect sticks and now my right stick has some drift. I thought the sticks weren't supposed to have drift. Is my stick defective?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi!

The Switch Lite is using different joysticks. Are you sure it's meant for the Nintendo Switch Lite..? If yes, do you have some photo's for us regarding the sticks?

Anyway, if it's meant for another controller or device, it's most likely you need to solder them in. If any trace or solder pad is damaged while (de)soldering it could still make the joystick drift. Please share some pictures with us regarding the solder work if you did solder.

Thanks in advance!

Hello! One of the mistakes that my friend made was, after swapping the joysticks out, he didn't calibrate the joysticks.

This can make the joysticks "drift" when they are just giving the incorrect readings.

use this guide to calibrate them!
