replaced screen on pixel 7 after a week can't recognize finger print

I got the kit and replaced the damaged screen (total noob)

not blaming anyone but me. I replaced a damage screen and it worked ok for a week. Now some times it says can't use fingerprint sensor see repair station.

I started looking for things and some said you didn't fully engage the ribbon cable..I had no idea how hard to press that in.

Others said did you replace these

there was no mention of these in the videos and not in kit and have no idea what they do.

I will order another adhesive sheet and take it apart again. Could it be the connector on the ribbon cable just popped back out?

any thing else I need to look at or do, please just let me know
