How to connect keyboard cable in MBP?

MacBook Pro 15" Santa Rosa

Well, I had a little problem with my keyboard a few weeks ago (could not type 'A') so I opened my laptop up according to MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Models A1226 and A1260 Keyboard Replacement and cleaned the keyboard up (hoping it would solve that problem)... But then I could not figure how to "slide the keyboard ribbon back into the connector" so I'm left with a laptop without a working keyboard... I've tried stuffing it back in but it would only go in about 1mm, not enough to make the connection... any way to connect it back in?

It's a cam - it lifts up (very gently from the insertion end) you insert the ribbon cable then push the cam back down.

Get a magnifying glass, examine the connector. Lift up the black plastic flap holding the ribbon in place (vertical ) slide in the ribbon, press down the flap.

Use tweezers, they help in get a little more of cable and then push it into the slot deeper)
