iPod touch won't respond to anything.
It won't charge, power on, and I can't even get it into recovery mode. Help please!
Is this a good question?

If it does not come on, even after charging, it will be time to disassemble your iPod, to take a closer look. Check your dock connector when it is disassembled. Plug it in and see what the voltage is at the battery contacts. It should be anywhere around 3.7V. Below 2.7V means your battery is not getting/holding a charge. Replace your battery. Also, check the power on your dock connector. For that, take a look on is not getting any charge here and measure the voltage on those pins. There is a possibility that your dock connector is not working. It is possible to replace it, but will require some fine soldering. Of course check for any obvious damage to the logic board and its components. Look for charred, missing components etc. Work your way up from a known good component, start with a new battery. Of course, to get into your iPod, take a look at all the guides on here. Hope this helps, good luck.

did anything happen to the iPod? What preceded this? Any water or fall damage? Have you tried a hard reset? Have you tried to charge it on an AC charger? What have you tried thus far to fix it?

No. Nothing. No. Won't respond to home+power. Yes, but nothing happened. I tried charging it for a while, then I tried to get it into recovery mode but it won't and I plugged it in and the computer won't recognize it at all. As in it doesn't even show up as anything.

Have you checked your cable, and your dock connector for any bend broken, or corroded pins? Did you try a different cable? Does it come on at all?

Yes, yes, nothing's wrong with them and I tried 3 different cables. No it does not come on at all.
