Why can't anyone hear what I say?

My speaker won't work. I can hear other people but they can't hear me, I've replaced the dock connector. Still nothing, when I push down on the motherboard their voice gets clearer but they still cant hear me. I've run out of ideas on what to do please help, I was thinking of buying a new motherboard bc I'm 99% positive that it's the audio compiler IC & I have no soldering experience. But i dont see why the IC chip would mess up my mic, if i can barely hear someone else. What should I do?.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this only on speaker phone, or is it while using the earpiece? Have you tried connecting headphones, and seeing if they can hear you when using the headset?

Could be that the dock connector/mic is defective. I've run into issues like this before where I ordered a part and it didn't fix it. So I got another one and then it worked. Worth trying. Contact the supplier you got the dock connector from see if you can get them to exchange the one you have for another.

The speaker phone & earpiece. I have not tired that yet but I will & will repost when I find out what happens.

& it can't be the dock connector because before I replaced it, it was doing the same thing. But I had to replace the dock connector because it wasn't charging, it's charging fine now tho. When I first got this phone for free It was broken, cracked screen, wouldn't charge & the mic doesn't work. I've fixed everything except the speaker because im not sure what to buy. I'm using it as we speak
