How to remove the back glass on iPhone 4 Verizon?

I have a replacement back glass panel for my phone and was expecting to remove the old one easily. All of the instructions I read say that I should remove the screws, which I have done, and then I should be able to push the back panel out easily. My phone's back panel refuses to budge. How can I remove it?

Options

Remove the two Pentalobe screws and then slide/push the Back Cover up towards the top of the iPhone about 2-3mm. Then just lift the Back Cover off. If it is on very stiff, push down on the back as you firmly slide it up the 2-3mm.
