iMac 2.16hz 20 inch White Not Aluminium.

When i plug in the AC cord and push the power button , nothing happens.

But i noticed a green light from the bottom where the memory is located.

The green light may be the ambient light sensor. My advice is for you to set the machine on its back and look. While there, you will be able to see the bottom of the machine and get the last three figures of your serial number for exact machine identification. To diagnose the problem, you'll probably have to remove the frame and look at the diagnostic lights to the right of the RAM slot and let us know what you find.

I've changed your description to what I believe is the correct machine: Apple iMac "Core 2 Duo" 2.16 20-Inch Specs

Identifiers: Late 2006 - MA589LL - iMac5,1 - A1207 - 2118

Here's how to get the frame off:iMac Intel 20" EMC 2105 and 2118 Front Bezel Replacement
