Tea spill in my MacBook

What should I do?):

My MacBook pro 15 2011 model. Had it for about 6 months and some tea feel on it. I turned it off and completely left it alone. I'm afraid to charge it since it might affect the battery. When the incident happened I flipped it over n let it dry. Now, it's April 2012 and I don't know what to do. It's been a week since it happened n I turn it on and it starts up, I hear the fan start the gray screen with apple logo but them turns off. What should I do?

Thank you.

First thing to do is remove ALL power including the battery. Then follow the ifixit liquid spill guide. After everything is dried hook up only the power brick and see if your computer will boot. If it does great but if not get back to us with the symptoms. In any case I would replace the battery as it may have internal damage from the liquid. Good luck.
