My power locks don't always lock and unlock- especially if its HOT out
Where should I start? If the temperatures are over 80 degrees the power locks don't work right, I can hear the mechanism trying to lock or unlock but the button cant move enough to lock or unlock the door.
Is this a good question?

@imthebookkeeper what exact year and model is your Impala? Does this mean none of the doors unlock when it is "Hot" (80 deg F is pleasantly warm but not hot).

It’s a 2008. And it’s kinda random. In the morning while it’s still cool the doors seem to work as it gets hotter then maybe one won’t work- the hotter it gets the worse the locks get. Subjection aside- I said over 80 is where it starts.

@imthebookkeeper ;-) that does sound like an issue with the actuator. Let me check for a wiring diagram. Does this only happen when you use your key or does it happen with the main switch on the drivers door as well?

@oldturkey03 my key fob doesn't work for the locks anymore at all- only the trunk. I can open the door with my key without issues, its just using the door lock button on the door that it does this and its the same with the buttons on both doors.
