I was told by service tech that the main board had failed.

He stated that this board was obsolete and recommended simply buying a new fridge. He wasn't trying to sell a fridge, employer is service only. I found a main board but can not determine the location of board in fridge. Any assistance would be appreciated.

What is the full model number of the refrigerator?

Asking as there are 43 different models beginning with RF261BEAE...... and they're not all the same.

There is an "/AA 03" indicated on the information sticker under "name". October/ 15 manufacturer date.

Sorry to be pedantic but I can't find any models having an AA 03 suffix and I don't want to link the wrong information.

There are several models with AA 0003 however.

The model numbers are:

RF261BEAEBC/AA 0003

RF261BEAESP/AA 0003,

RF261BEAESR/AA 0003,

RF261BEAEWW/AA 0003
