What are the 3 pin wires going from power supply to logic board?

From other close up videos, looks like a 3 pin connector going from power supply to logic board. So I assume 12V DC Pos and Neg. But what is the 3rd wire for?

Place is to power this directly from 12V DC source and I will bypass this built in power supply.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@ruggb 's assertion of a +5V would be reasonable, but in my experience all Mac desktop devices have 12V only power supplies.

I am most likely to think this is a data line that feeds sensor data or other to the logic board.

I think it is power on/off signal from bottom plate.

+5V would be a high possibility
