How do we fix a screen that has separated from it's frame.

The screen on my pixel 7 has separated from the frame holding it into place. The plastic clips and the adhesive are still connected to to phone the plastic frame separated from the screen.

This seems to be a common problem with this phone what is the best course of action?

Options

Follow the screen replacement guide. Remove all old glue, replace with new glue. If the plastic screen frame has separated from the screen, it will need glue on top and bottom.
