broken plastic tap on cable 3

Hi

while replacing the battery of my iPhone 3gs I accidentally broken the plastic tab holding the ribbon cable number 3 in place...as a result although I have put the ribbon cable in place an the rest of the functions of the phone are ok I have no speaker...

any suggestions please?

If you kept the plastic piece you could possibly try repairing it by using a plastic melting iron. Or maybe possibly use tape and see if holding the ribbon in place works, though probably isn't a permanent solution.
