hi every body i instal panther on my ibook g3 12inch procesr speed is 600mhz after all updates safari crash with in a secon can not give chance to download firfox.i have change ram few difrant knd nothing is working?

Boot into SafeMode then try deleting your Safari Preferences - ensure your HD is not damaged using DiskUtility and that you have at least 20% free space (e.g. you need to keep 2GB unused for a 10GB HD).

Please tell us about the installation disk you used. Was it gray or a retail version of 10.4?
