My screen is not working after connecting the screen connector

Hi, I was following the fix it guide for a screen replacement for a pixel 8a, however I could not get my screen to turn of even after multiple attempts of reconnecting the screen cable.

Note: I have made some minor tearing on the graphite sheet while getting the old monitor out, i dont know if that is a big issue.
