Hi @jbm34671
Perhaps check if the buzzer level setting is OK or if it is even turned off.
Here's the owner manual that may help.
Go to p.575 Customizing vehicle features to view how to enter the Settings area and then see p.577 Smart key system* and wireless remote control to view the buzzer level options
Could be a faulty buzzer/buzzer connection.
Here's an image from the service manual that may help.

Thanks for that respons however the car settings are on for sound but still no beep.
Do you hear any beeps from other features in the vehicle?
No beep sound at all
Could it be the fuse or fuses? And where do I find the correct one/s?
There are no fuses for the buzzer. It is a direct feed from the immobilizer/door lock control module.
All it would take is for a loose connection or a faulty buzzer for it not to work.
I think that the buzzer is located behind the front fender liner. Not sure if it is the left or right side though. Perhaps someone else knows for sure.
Just to toss in a random thought here - my car is totally unrelated to yours, but it seems to be a common feature among manufacturers that the car does not beep when you lock it if any of the door/tailgate/hood locks aren't fully engaged. On my Subaru, for example, I didn't get the tailgate closed fully. When I hit the lock button on the remote the doors all locked, but I didn't get a beep. My VW Beetle does the same thing; I didn't have the hood fully closed and thus didn't get a beep even though the door locks engaged.
Given that, I'd suggest checking everything that opens to make sure it's fully latched closed; that would include all the doors, the hatchback if present and the hood.
Of course, that also implies that if any of the latch switches are broken or having wiring problems, then you'd see the same thing.

Thanks for this, I did be sure that everything closes and is latched. I have tried everything else but the fuse. I also read that it could be the key fob needs to be reset?
@jbm34671 I'm skeptical of that; I can't think of any circumstances where the car would lock and unlock correctly but not beep due to the key fob. If it was an issue with the fob, I'm fairly sure it would be a black and white case of either it works or it doesn't - there really wouldn't be any in between.
@jbm34671 If you have a wiring diagram, I'd get out an ohmmeter or test light and manually check each of the door/gate/hood latch switches for proper operation.
Thanks for all your suggestions and I will figure this out, somehow some way.
JB did you ever figure this out yet? I’m wondering because my 2023 Camry hybrid is doing the exact same thing. Sometimes if the car is running, and I get out with the keys, it will be one time, but not like it used to, and when I lock it, it will not beep.

I have same trouble with my 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid. It stopped beeping entirely. It’s not a door or latch. It’s not a setting in the vehicle screen control panel. Toyota said the only thing they could think of to do was charge me $1,500 to replace the car computer. Anyone else dealing with this?
I bought a different Toyota Camry hybrid - 2022, to replace my 2021 after a hail storm totaled it.
Beep worked fine at the dealership when I looked at car. I asked dealership to change setting so that all 4 Windows roll down if you double click and then hold the unlock button on the remote key fob. (I like this feature as it’s an easy way to let the heat out of the car during the summertime. The dealer has to change this feature.)
After the dealer activated this feature for me, no more beeps from my car.
I suspect that the beeps are going away for all of us because of some aspect of a feature being turned on or off that has nothing to do with the beep itself. I brought my car into a local Toyota dealership and asked them to troubleshoot. They recommended that I replaced the entire computer for $3500. I said no thanks.
I’m still looking for a solution to this problem just as many of you are.
