unknown part from iPhone 4 lcd glass replacement

I was taking the screen off my iphone 4, then a part falls out and I couldn't figure out where it goes.

Please view the picture I link below.

The part on the left I'm more concern with.

The part on the right is a rubber tube, and I don't know where it comes from neither.

Please help. Thanks

Chosen Solution

The metal clip goes under the battery connector exactly as shown in your top photo. The battery screw goes through the hole. Place clip, snap battery connector down onto clip, replace battery screw.

The black rubber part sits on top left of Logic Board, it is a bumper, cushion for the two front screen flex cables. Therefore it is placed directly on the top left edge of Logic Board and under the two flex cables.
