How to disassemble part#3(sensitization cable 821-0841-A))

I bought the part #3, that iPhone 3GS Sensitization Cable(APPLE 821-0841-A) online. It is not from ifixit because they don't sell this part separately. Anyway, when I went to the last step, I didn't know how to disassemble a small cover on the top of that cable, which means I cannot replace the new one I bought. Is there anyone who has similar experience? Share some if you did, plz.

There are several ways to pop off this metal cover. The easiest for me is to use the tip, point of a large size safety pin. Carefully push the tip under the top edge pressure tab of the clip and slide it keeping it against the very top edge of the clip. This will release the pressure tab of the clip. Keeping along top edge will avoid damaging the #3 flex cable. Repeat process for the other small tab if it does not release in first step.
