Recognizes game disc but does not launch it
When I insert my game disc, the console recognizes it is a PS2 game disc but when I try to launch it, it goes back to the browser.
Is this a good question?

Is the PS2 modded by any chance?
Anyway, it’s probably the laser which need to be cleaned! Please try this first. If this didn’t fixed, then replace it!

I've cleaned the laser, and it seems to work with CDs, but not DVDs. It recognizes the disc and displays what type of DVD it is, but cannot play/launch it.
And I'm using the model SCPH-77001
