How to Use USB cable for charging without the use of charging port
I don't want to use charging port for charging it so I don't know where I will sod my USB cable too

@fre77884 I see. You most likely would need to desolder the old one and then resolder a new port. You will also have to solder the cable if you decide to bypass the port.
I'd suggest you post some pictures of the device and the charging port (hopefully you have it disassembled already), and then check the port. See if something like this video helps with the teardown. @fre77884 why would you not want to use the charging port? After all, that is what it is there for. You could solder the charging cable to the traces or the components that follow the charging port, just not sure why you would want to.
