Moding my xbox with a clear case.

Hello.

i am putting a clear case on my Xbox 360 s console and i wanted to no do i need the thin aluminum sheet attached to the plastic on the inside of the case. It blocks a lot and kinda destroys the idea of a clear case..please answer

Thank you and i have seen them ran without just so you can see inside them?Any thought about this??

kaine, there is a lot of sheet metal attached. I would think that this is responsible for airflow, EMI shielding, and possible structural stiffness. It might even provide a common ground. I guess you can always try to run your xbox without it and see if it overheats, and if you will have interference from, and to, other electronic components. Hope this helps, good luck

+1. Also, I take the mod case comes from a reputable source. They usually add a manual, telling whick parts salvage from the old case and which keep.
