What is wrong with my phone? Processor issues? Virus? Dead Screen?

I have a Samsung galaxy A53 phone. SM-s536DL(GP)
Last week, randomly (didn't drop it or get it wet), my phone starts getting stuck and freezing every once in a while. I clean up the storage and ram, and restart it. It works again for a while. Then, it starts happening again, slowly getting worse. Occasionally, it freezes so bad, it displays a rainbow screen, like it's stuck between loading the new information.

This weekend, I manage to backup most of my data to the Samsung smartswitch thing, however there wasn't enough room to back up the app data, and a couple other smaller things. I was working to back up the rest to an empty SD card, when the phone froze again. I haven't been able to get anything to work on it since.

I don't think it's the screen.. but if you knew of someway I could check? Last week for example, even when it wasglitches, I could still boot up to the blue bootloader screen, and start up the phone in "safe mode" without any issues. The issues only came when I tried to leave safe mode. I was hoping to back everything up, and factor reset the phone to wipe any viruses.. but couldn't in time.

From what I can tell.. I think It might be the processor or cpu dying.. possibly some connection in the phone got fried.. or maybe I got a nasty virus or bug.

Do you have any suggestions for what to check to diagnose the problem? I don't think my phone has hdmi output to through the USB-C port unfortunately. I've tried connecting to it through the phone connection on windows, but I can't tell if the phone is even on, and I'd need to accept remote control on the phone. I can try to hookup a wired keyboard to try and unlock it, but might be difficult doing it blind.

Is there a way to use my computer to force a backup? And/or factory reset the phone?
Some things are working I think, this morning, my alarms went of a few times. The phone still vibrates when I hold down the "volume down key and power button" (forces a restart) and for a brief moment this morning, i could see the charging screen, but it was frozen and couldn't move to the unlock screen.

I've been trying to let the battery die, but without using it, that's difficult, and I can't see the battery percentage. (This morning it was around 83%) the last time I let the battery die, and let it sit for a while, I was able to char be it back up in the morning and backup the first half of the phone.

When I plug it in to my laptop, there's a connection sound notification, like it recognizes the phone.. but, it must be set in music transfer or something because the phone's directory doesn't pop up on the file explorer.

Sorry for the length, just trying to give you the full picture and everything I've tried already. The last time I asked someone, they just said it was a bad screen and quoted me $100+. It tends to not be worth it to replace the whole screen in my experience, so if there's anything to try before trying that, please let me know.

If it does come down to the screen, is this what I would need as a replacement?
