MacBook won't turn on.

I was using my MacBook Pro without Battery & with Power Adaptor. I was holding MacBook on My Laps. while using it i just transfer MacBook from my lap to a my working desk. suddenly my hand slips & the power connector goes off from MacBook. as the battery was not inside the MacBook goes switch off. then Till now i am trying to start the MacBook it won't start with or without battery & power adaptor. My MacBook is out of warrenty. I don't understand what is tha problem.

Sandy, was your battery charged or not when it happened and could you try to boot your MBP with another AC adapter. Maybe your AC adapter is now faulty and your battery discharged that's why you can't power on the unit.

Reset the SMU

Unplug the computer's power cord.

Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.

Release the power button.

Attach the computers power cable.

Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Yes, I was using Graphics Software which need more power & with battery i will not able to work for long time......& if i keep battery inside it will get overcharged that's why I removed battery.

I am not familier with words SMU. will you please write me in details.

The above procedure unplugging the power cord Press hold power button for 5 second. i already did this. but still won't start at all. is there any other option......

You can leave your battery in, it will not overcharge. When the light on the magsafe plug is amber it is charging, when it turns green the battery is fully charged. Are you getting any lights or sounds when you try to start up? Put the battery in and connect the AC adapter.
