Wifi reduced after screen replacement

I just recently replaced my screen and digitized an back screen panel as well and after wards my wifi signal has been greatly reduced. I have read posts and everything i've read relates to the metal panel with the 5 screws on the top of the back panel. The metal connector at the top post with the long screw is still there but yet i only get 1 wifi bar of signal. Are there any other parts of the phone that may need replacing to fix the signal issue.

thanks!

Update

So I cleaned all the parts and it works a tiny bit better. Te metal clip on the top part of the connectors is still there. But the screw goes in a little loose and I'm not sure why. When it's screwed all the way down not all of the metal is touching because the screw slips down when tight.

Answer this question I have this problem too

OK, First of all, Replacing the iPhone 4 screen is a royal pain in the a#$. It is seriously my least favorite repair to do. When you replace the screen on the iphone 4, if you get the oils from your skin on anything..... I mean anything.... It will cause wifi signal issues.

To combat this, when I replaced mine, I wore latex gloves, and cleaned every surface I touched with "Windex"(Because it is a powerful degreaser), just keep it off the logic board. I know this sounds pretty crazy, but my wifi signal actually works better now than before I tore it down now. My friend did his, and didn't clean the surfaces his skin came in contact with, and his wifi antenna barely works now.

I don't think you need to replace anything, just go in there and sterilize every surface. I am certain it will work.

Let me know!

Yeah, there's a long screw that goes right in the top of the device, the is vital to wifi. I didn't fit it properly and it barely worked, after replacing it it worked fine.
