Is there a a service manual for this laptop out there, it is F2290x 2D (2011) version. Trying to see why the cpu is consistantly running its fan on high, even when there isnt anything being ran (program wise) and it doesnt have dust.

I to am having difficulty in locating this manual. However there are usually only small changes between models so I am including the link to the ifixit selection of manuals for Sony. Check them out and see if one is close enough for you. Your likely problem is lint and such or possibly the CPU needing new heat paste. Looking at the age of your unit you should check and see if it is covered by warranty. Good luck.
