Hi imran,

Before you close the iPhone, hold the screen unit in an angle of about 45-60 degrees to the rest of the iPhone.

The 3rd cable needs to be connected first (before #2 and #1).

It is very important to consider that before you slide the flat ribbon cable into that connector, the small black (or grey or white?) clip (it is a part of that connector) needs to stand upright. This is the open position of that connector. Only in this position will the connector allow the flat cable to enter and to finally hold it.

Now, slowly try to slide it into the (open) connector. You can use a plastic tweezer and access the cable from the side, between the screen unit and the body of the iPhone.

During that process, you might have to slightly move the cable to the right and left.

Finally, when you "feel" that the flat cable has docked (that is the position in which you cannot slide it in any more), use a long match or one of your plastic iPhone opening tools as an "extended arm" and push the black clip of that connector towards the power button/headphone jack. That's it!

I hope I was able to help you.

Steffen
