right done the 6r8 coil been replace but still don,t work

before you changed the coil, did you check your LCD display on another phone? My first suggested would have been to change the LCD display, then the coil then the backlight IC.....

Most likely the backlight coil has gone. See the pic for the location.

It's quite a tricky repair so you may want to find a company to do it for you.

steven, sorry to butt in. If you are referring to the EMI shield, you do not have to take that off. The coil is on the left side as shown in red on the image. There is a way to check your coil first. Take a look at this video. If you are not sure if you want to do the coil repair, here is a video that shows the complete repair. Good luck.
