This depends on the charging cord or adapter. I have experienced this before, and if I used a better cord and adapter, I could get the charging my phone needs. Surprisingly, it worked.
It also depends on how properly you charge it. Maybe it's loose, or something.
This also depends on how much dust is in the charging slot. Try cleaning it.
It also depends on the condition of the cord (or adapter) (e.g. exposing wires)
