installing new digitizer HELP

im having a hard time as to what i do with the digitizer ribbon cable in the bottom left corner it seems to long to close without folding it which i believe is bad for it any ideas?

Options

You can fold it, but DON'T crease it and make sure it doesn't get torn, which is amazingly easy to do. Do you remember how it originally looked?
