Why my phones folding display only works when it's open half.

My phone's folding display won't work if i unfold it fully and it only works when i unfold it half and the main screen selfie camera also failed and dont working.

Having the same issue, took it to ubreakifix and the rep told me that the ribbon cable in the hinge is either partially broken, cracked, or disconnected. In order to repair it, the entire body assembly will have to be replaced - got quoted $650 for the repair.
