brand new digitizer but touch part doesnt work

I have a brand new digitizer and i used it on a corrupted iPhone and it work working perfectly fine and i out it on another one that was working fine with broken glass. i replaced it with this new digitizer and the picture shows up but i cant unlock it

any help why this is happening or like maybe i dont have the ribbon cable in

can some one tell me which each cable does?

try reseating all the display connectors first-they can be tricky, make sure phone is powered off before attempting this or you may end up with more problems.

Software problem ? Mine worked with the broken display, but after I replaced it with the new one the touch screen didnt work anymore

I go for hardware issue, but you never know. Sure you can and should try to do a hard reset on your phone after repair like this. Sync your iPhone then put it into dfu mode, restore it and then just re sync it with the old sync. See if that fixes it,When you have done that and it still does not work I would make sure that all the connections are seated properly and that there is no corrosion or debris on the connectors.
