Vesa is the expert on which of these machines the stand can be removed. We need to know exactly which machine you have. Please give us the last three letters of the serial number of your machine (found on the bottom of the stand). You can also do a web search for VESA and your machines specs.

My last three letters of serial number of my machine are VUV.
Those numbers may be incorrect. Try using the system profiler, under hardware your serial number should be the second from the bottom on the page after you hit more info.
