No power, no iTunes water damage

Ok I dropped my iPhone in water. Opened it let it dry then it only turned on when on charger. Won't be recognized by iTunes and one day I plugged it in and nothing showed on the screen. Took it apart and battery has power when plugged in logic board has power help

Kadin, the number one thing that you should do, follow this guide. It was written for a 3G but does fully apply to your phone as well. Make sure that you do not leave any part uncleaned, otherwise you will risk later corrosion issues. Once you got this accomplished, replace the battery (make sure it is a battery for the 3GS) and reevaluate what, if any, damage you have. Hope this helps, good luck.
