Can't see the device after replacing disk

My ipod video stopped working. It would either say the battery was low or it would just display the support web address. I decided to replace the disk and since I was replacing it I upgraded from 30gb to 60gb. I purchased a new battery, headphone/hold switch, front, back and disk. Now it just clicks. I can't see it in iTunes or windows "My Computer". Nothing shows up on the display. Any ideas?

Thanks.

gocleveland, check your HDD cable. I have had plenty of 5th gen iPod that had a broken cable. Make sure that you check the way it is inserted. It is possible that it is broken as well. Anytime I now change a HDD I also replace the cable. Also make sure that you replace the HDD with the same brand. I do know that the Toshiba and Hitachi drive require a separate HDD cable. If you can, get a USB-to-ZIF adapter and check your HDD separate from your iPod. Hope this helps, good luck.
