Cd stock in the CD/DVD Rom and the iMac powers on

My Imac has a cd stock in the cd/dvd Rom i cannot eject it because i cannot.

The Imac turns on but nothing comes on the screen, the mouse lights up but the keyboard dose not..

When i press the power button you can here the power runningand the cd kicking inside the CD/dvd rom.

is it my LCd screen?

Remove the cd/dvd drive from the imac, then remove the 4 torq screws holding the black plastic outer body, and if the disk is sticking out of the drive opening you should be able to now pull it out.

I just did this with a faulty imac i bought and found 3 peppa pig DVDs stuck in the CD/DVD drive

HOLD DOWN the mouse, space bar or eject button at startup. That it will not boot would indicate a bad HD.
