Will my iPod classic 5th gen work without battery?
I broke my battery cable inside my ipod so can i make my ipod classic work without a battery but plugged in with the usb?

Connor Linfoot, just double checked two that I have here for repair, Neither one starts without battery. Again, that is for mine.

It won't work without a battery. The iPod classic 5th generation is the one ipod that I'm most familiar with using and repairing. I broke my ipod battery cable to and left it in a charger for one day and it wouldn't work. So you can buy a replacement battery for it on eBay for around $6. Hope this helps you.
