How to re-install the OS
I would like to remove the partition on the hard drive. So is it possible to re-install another OS X from another model?

Well, if you own a license of the operating System, you can put whatever you want, from the original Operating System, that I remember to be OS X 10.5, to the now current OS X Lion (10.7).
Keep the original DVD handy though, you may need it for the Hardware Test, under duress.
Just start your laptop with the Installation DVD you own (10.5, 10.6 or 10.7) and follow the instructions.
I shouldn't really tell you that you should be the legal owner of the DVD you're using to install, I dunno if licensing allow to use an "OEM" version instead of a retail.
