The Intel HD Graphics 3000 services is embedded into the CPU chip. Review this Integrated graphics card in the Sandy Bridge codenamed processors

2nd question: If you have a still alive, good warranty... Yes you would void it.

1st question:I agree with "Wakitech", BUT...I would suggest getting an EXTERNAL [ and connect it to the external video in back of laptop] computer monitor & download the latest software for such], because I suspect you want to play GAMES [ or gaming computer ??!!]

Technically yes, But that would involve unsoldering the current chip, and adding a new chip by reballing it on, which if you dont have the tools is literally impossible. I have the tools to do it at my shop (We do PC and game console repairs) and I still have only seen it done successfully 4 or 5 times

The Intel Graphics 3000 is embedded into the CPU not a stand alone GPU. You would need to replace the CPU and then you have the issues of what to use instead of and if the system could even support it. Bottom line here not replaceable.
