Hi Kristina, The first thing to do if you haven't already done it is remove the battery and all power. I am including a link to the ifixit guide for handling liquid damage. If after following the guide let us know if your computer works and if not the symptoms it displays. It may be that machead is correct but lets keep a positive attitude until complete the guide--you may get lucky.

You've probably killed it by powering up a wet device. Electrons and water do not mix. You should ID your Mac, find the proper guide, dismantle clean and dry it. Using the search box for liquid damage, water damage will offer up good advice on things to try.
