Trackpad screw getting loose often

Hi,

I'm having quite annoying problem with trackpad of my Macbook white (late 2009 model). Screw which adjusts it's sensitivity is getting loose very often and thus my trackpad is not working anymore. It is still clickable, but click is not so crisp anymore and computer also doesn't respond to these clicks.

I found the instructions how to adjust the screw and it helps every time. But now i have come to point when i need to adjust this screw every week. That's way too much. Now im looking for a way to fix that.

Has anyone had similar problem? Any suggestions for solving it?

Thank you!

p.s. and i cant turn at the Apple service now, as I'm not living in my country where i bought it. last time when i had some problem, local service charged 100usd for just looking at the machine and concluding what was the problem..

Loctite® makes a goop Pro Lock Tight® to put on screws (that blue stuff on threads of screws you often see when you dismantle products). If you can't find a source for that, in a pinch, SuperGlue works too. SuperGlue has lots of tinsel strength, but not much shear strength so if you should need to move the screw turning will generally break the bond.

Thank you! I was also thinking of putting on something on that adjustment screw. However my main concern is can I screw it out completely? won't it release some kind of spring or something? i'm really not sure about mechanism of that part..
